Ok, just to keep everyone informed.
The map Flaming Gorge used files from a previous map Jimbo built and some of the files he borrowed were not renamed to the new map folder.
The reason the map worked for some and not others was because if you had the previous map in your custom folder, the game would draw the files from that map and the new one would run fine.
When I tested the new map I still had the other map in my custom level folder. After testing I had a clean out of test maps and next time I tried to play Flaming Gorge it wouldnt run for me Either.

That confused the hell out of me and it took a while to sort out the cause.
However Jimbo was on the case smartly and made the needed changes so the map will now run as a stand alone.

The map has been updated in the library today. 01 04 2018.
If you have the original copy, I suggest you delete it and download the new one to prevent any future unexpected results.

You sure do.
Australia beat England in the Ashes series, and New Zealand beat the West Indies.
Great game cricket.

Welcome back. Good to see old friends again.
A lot of water gone under a lot of bridges on a lot of new maps.
You should find something to keep you amused in the map files.

Keep in touch and keep your head down.

Good catch Miriam.
Jimbo needs to alter the file path on his background file and upload it again.

Thats the Silly component of the map.
But they can only be observed by those ingesting copious quantities of Coors.

Well yeah.
Thats what I cant understand. Its not working for me now either.
The only thing I can think is that the folder name for the map must be the same as some other map in the custom level folders, and if you dont have the other map the problem would not arise.
The map folder name is not always the same as the name of the spk file.
We have had this happen in the past with a pair of my maps, but because I knew which maps were involved I was able to fix it.
This time I have no Idea where to look.

I checked the map from the site and it is definitely not working.
Which is strange because it was working when I tested it.
The original copy I had in my computer is not working now either.
It will have to go back to Jimbo for a review.

Meanwhile Ron will have to choose another map for the final hunt.
I would suggest a restart on Sunday.

You may have to look at the top of your Folder when it is open and look for compatibility files. It Depends on your operating system as to whether the files are hidden or not.

But first.. right click on your game icon on your desktop and choose .. Run as Administrator.
Then right click on the icon again and choose .. check compatibility.
Then start the game and run it. Close the game and accept the setting.
That may be enough to make them visible.

Of course if you dont have the folders you will need to make them and put them in your Game folder.

They must be named like this....

And the other one that is often missing is the record folder for the videos, it is simply named ...

I was just checking with Semi because he has obviously a problem with his access to the site and I figured if he was using the shout box he could be having problems with the PM system. Have to wait to see if he replies one way or the other.

My in box is working, but dosnt let me know with the voice or Email advice anymore. I have to check manually to see if I have any messages each time I visit.

B.C. Trilogy. That was done a few years ago for sure.
Did you find Rez's building site on prerut and rut ( the first chapter. )

Did you know He actually got kicked out of B.C. for butt shooting the whitetails and never finished the build..

Evil or Very Mad

A B.C. trilogy was an attempt to build a progressive set of maps that started in the lower farmland in chapter 1, then in chapter 2 moved into the forest and finally up into the high forest meadows in chapter 3, crossing over 2 common boundaries on the way. Changes to the prey also occurs the further up the map set you go, as a result, chapter 1 is all Whitetail, but chapters two and three are in the mixed maps section, as they contain a mix of Blacktail , Mule  and Whitetail.

While the idea was successful it involved a massive amount of work. ( 9 maps ) Building the common boundaries where the maps overlapped was a bitch and I only replicated the idea once more with the mapset "Tricona Valley East and West" which was scaled back to a 3 season map set.

Any way, glad you had fun.
